TRAVEL:

Nanny will travel with the family every Thursday in June to Sag Harbor (in the Hamptons), staying over night arriving back in the city on Friday. In July and August, nanny will travel with the family 3 nights a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) to Sag Harbor, arriving back in the city on Friday. Nanny will drive with mother in car.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:

Daily care for 2 children.

Flexibility will be needed as situations arise.

Morning Prep – Typically mother will help manage both children on Monday and Tuesday mornings; nanny will be responsible for rest of the week.

During nap time take care of light tidying up of home (empty dishwasher, wipe kitchen counter, clean up play area, child’s laundry, etc.)

Ensure that infant is never left alone with dog in same room if baby is in stationary seat or on the floor. (Baby can be in swing)

Never take the infant outside or on the balcony unless discussed with parents

Engage with the infant and plan age appropriate activities, books and music.

Keep infant in a safe environment at all times.

Arrange and schedule classes and play dates for daughter when requested.

Run errands for daughter (shopping, groceries, etc) when needed.

Preparing bottles and eventually solid foods for daughter

Following a nap schedule for daughter and altering it as daughter grows

PETS: Family has a dog. (large boxer.) Dog will sometimes be at daycare; no care needed. 

HOUSEHOLD STAFF: A housekeeper comes to the home every other Tuesday.

GROSS SALARY/BENEFITS: $18-$20 / per hour gross. Family is open to paying on or off the books.

PARENTS 1 WORK: Father works full time outside of the home.

LOCATION: Multiple Locations.

*Family is currently in Europe. When job starts, family will be in London.

*Job locations will include France, Washington DC, NYC, London, etc. (In summer family plans on being in France for a few months, then will be in the USA for a few months starting in September.)

LOCATION: East Village, New York

*Family is moving to Boerum Hill in Brooklyn sometime in May

START DATE: Flexible on start date, but would like someone ASAP.  

COMMITMENT LENGTH: Family prefers a 1 year commitment.  

LIVE IN/OUT ACCOMODATIONS: Family is open to Live-In or live out.

*Proposed plan for live in: Nanny will have a private bedroom on the same level as the family. Bath will be shared.  In the new home in Brooklyn the nanny will have a private room and private bath.

DAYS/HOURS: For Live in: Friday start at 6:00pm- Sunday at 8:00pm.

For Live out: Friday 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Saturday 6:00am – 8:00pm, and Sunday 6:00am – 8:00pm.

CHILDREN:

child 1: 3 year old boy (Will be 4 in July; Into pretend play, arts and crafts, trains, superheroes)

*Family also has a home in Alpine, New Jersey. (Nanny will alternate between both residences.)

*In September 2017 family will be moving to the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and at that time schedule will alternate between the Hamptons and Manhattan.

Liability

You agree to hold harmless Lucky Lil’ Darlings, for any damages caused by one of its sitters working as a Domestic Provider for the Family.  The Family hereby acknowledges that LLD served only as placement agent among Domestic Provider and the Family.

You hereby agree that Lucky Lil’ Darlings is not to be held responsible for any type of property damage (to your car or a third party's car, or any other property) or bodily injury or death (to either occupants of your car or another car) resulting from one of its sitters using your vehicle. It is against LLD policy for sitters to use their own vehicles, and if you choose to allow a sitter to drive your vehicle, or drive any vehicle while working for you, LLD cannot be held liable for any results of your choice to do so. LLD makes no representations about its sitters driving records or claims any responsibility for the quality of the driving services performed.

Please also note that cancellations or rescheduling done within a 24-hour period of the start time of services are subject to the following fee: $50 fee in NY, NJ, CT & CA; and $40 fee in TX, IL, PA, GA & MA. By agreeing to this waiver you grant us permission to charge your credit card.

BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, FAMILY AFFIRMATIVELY CONSENTS TO AUTOMATIC CHARGES TO THE CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ACCOUNT PROVIDED BELOW. DURING THE TERM OF THIS AGREEMENT, THE APPLICABLE FEES AGREED TO BETWEEN THE REFERRING PARTY AND THE FAMILY WILL BE CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY TO THIS ACCOUNT. THE SERVICES PROVIDED ARE CONTINUOUS AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL FAMILY CANCELS OR THE AGREEMENT IS OTHERWISE TERMINATED.
