How can busy moms have time to run errands, pick up the kids, do laundry, go to work, and have time to put together a cute outfit? With everything else going on, looking good while running around is probably the last thing on any busy mom’s mind. But, LLD is all about making your life easier, so we asked for some easy style tips for the winter weather from fashion consultant Anne Riley and here’s what she suggested for on-the-go, busy moms!
  • Throw denim on denim (I know, so 80′s yet so stylish). Adorn with a scarf or necklace. Any boot, flat shoe, or not-so-dressy wedge will work.
  • Skirts seem like a lot of work, but really are not so tough. Find any pencil or shorter skirt in in closet, throw on tights (easy to just pick the color with what color your boots are), and pick a monochromatic sweater or add a little zest of color!
  • Easy breezy with skinny jeans (fancy ones with leather or plain) and big, cozy sweater.  The faux fur vest simply adds a little spice.
  • Find a funky pant (they actually make dressing fun because you don’t have to try hard, but still look quite jazzy). Pair with a sweater and/or a tee and jean jacket. Throw on heels for a date night or riding boots while running around with the kids.
  • Flannel shirts!!! So comfortable, cozy, and totally in style. Pair it with a torn or dark jean, throw on a cute boot or shoe and voila – instant chic mom.
Simple, fashionable, and easy! Even with the hectic life of an on-the-go mom, there’s always time for looking good, and with these simple tips it’s even easier!
