Living in the polar region of northeast Ohio I have developed a severe case of the winter blues. I’ve cleaned every nook and cranny, in, out and under the refrigerator, paint touchups and shopped till I dropped (or ran out of money– whichever came first). So, what to do next? Last shopping trip at Home Goods, I saw a tulip arrangement in a partially jute covered glass container that caught my eye. It looked simple enough to recreate, so off to a craft store to buy tulips and jute. I spent my cold winter’s Saturday night recreating the arrangement and what a masterpiece it was! Just seeing flowers, even fake ones was a temporary remedy for the winter blahs and a little hope that spring was just around the corner?
