All of our nannies are placed close to our agency location
in the tri-state area, NY and suburbs, NJ and Connecticut. This
enables us to network you with other nannies and to be available
to you. Within a few days after your arrival, other nannies
will contact you so that you have the opportunity to meet new
people and make new friends.
Whether you are living in the suburbs or in the city, you will
be able to take advantage of all that New York has to offer.
Taking the train into Grand Central or Penn Station is easy
and brings you close to the many sites you will want to see!
While in Manhattan, you’ll no problem finding things to
do. Among the many possibilities, you can:
- Have a picnic or go ice skating in Central Park
- See great art at museums such as The Metropolitan Museum
of Art and The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA)
- Visit Times Square and see a Broadway Show
- Go shopping on Fifth Avenue or in SoHo
- Take a ferry ride to Ellis Island or the Statue of Liberty
- See the city from the top of the Empire State Building
- Hang out in Greenwich Village
- See a professional sporting event or a concert at Madison
Square Garden
The communities in which you live offer many things
to do as well. There are malls, movies theaters, restaurants,
gyms, concert
venues, beaches and more! There are many colleges and
universities in the area where you can take classes- whether
for credit
or personal interest. In addition, there are many parks,
children’s
museums, libraries and play centers where you can go with
the children. There you will have a chance to meet and
interact with other nannies as well.
Being a nanny is a great
way to gain valuable childcare experience while experiencing
a new part of the country and meeting great
people!
