Like any relationship, it will take
an effort on both your part and the nanny’s part to make this relationship
work. Communication is key. Once you have hired a nanny, we will do a phone
conference with you to discuss our suggestions for making this relationship
a successful one. We will also provide you with a nanny/family agreement.
This is an informal agreement to be used as a discussion tool between you
and your nanny. We strongly recommend that you schedule a time to meet with
your nanny on a regular basis. At first, you may find that it is best to
meet once a week. After the first few weeks, you will not need to meet as
frequently. However, you should still schedule meetings as this gives both
you and your nanny the opportunity to discuss any issues that may arise.
